One reason they lack nuanc...I couldn't agree more. One reason they lack nuance is that the media often have to convey complex scientific data (such as you mentioned) to a non-scientific audience - the detail is bound to get lost.<BR/><BR/>Another problem is that of 'equal weighting'.
