I just want to be absolutely assured that neuologists whom treat severe headache disorders, such as Chronic Cluster Headache, have been educated enough to know that Oxycontin E.R. can NOT be used to abort cluster h.a. If Sansert or DHE45 are going to be used, the Oxycontin will take up the receptor sites for these medications and render them useless for the patient. I have just learned this after 2 neurologists used this approach while my daughter needlessly went through 20 months of HELL. I don't EVER want to see anyone go through what she has. One very mad mom.
