Only article I've ever seen that instructs the reader to call a nephrologist if their patient has "pericardial effusion with tamponade physiology."God forbid it's one of my relatives, please call a CT surgeon or at least a cardiologist for the emergent pericardioscentesis or pericardial window!Much I love my nephrology collegues (who are excellent physicians,) it's stills ABCs, then D for dialysis.
