Cryoglobulinemic vasculitis is due to hepatitis C in the majority of cases. This review (Current Opinion in Rheumatology) covers many of the points I referenced here.

I suffer from HCV. I am currently on the Pegasys treatment. This is my fourth try to complete the treatment. I am now in my fourth month of treatment. I have bouts of Cellulitis. Maybe this could be vasculitis? I am now dealing with my second bout of cellulitis? The doctors are thinking about stopping Pegasys treatment. I want to stay on treatment but I don't know if the risks are worth it. I have genotype 1 HepC. I have scarring of the liver on the verge of cirrosis. My viral load has dropped immensely so the meds are working. My liver enzymes have little change. I need 11 months of treatment. Could I have vasculitis instead of cellulitis?
