ECG manifestations of pulmonary embolism

Lacking sensitivity and specificity, the ECG can not be the sole modality to diagnose or exclude pulmonary embolism. It can provide clues, however, which point to the diagnosis, as well as information on the physiologic state of the right ventricle.
